Homemade Laundry Soap

We are so thrilled to be here folks! We've had a few glitches along the way, and had to take a couple of pauses with our venture, but here we are!

We plan to do lots of fun projects, videos, tutorials... and the first thing we've gotten ready for y'all is this little tutorial on how to make homemade laundry soap. We've been making our own laundry soap off and on for several years, and we really are a fan of the savings. Also, we believe in the final product.

Fun video!

20 MULE TEAM $4.47 divide this by four
(because we're actually getting 4 batches from the box) = $1.12
WASHING SODA $3.97 divide this by four = .99
FELS-NAPTHA $.97
Total cost per batch = $3.08

Divide the $3.08 by five gallons per batch and we are only paying (drum roll) 62 cents per gallon!
Now that's worth the 30 minutes total we spent making this laundry soap! And, (bonus) we had a lot of fun doing it!

I forgot to tell y'all that you can add fragrance oils to your laundry soap. I used a lavender scented oil, and added while everything was still good and hot!

MMMM... SMELLS GREAT!

We hope y'all enjoyed our fun little tutorial. And we hope you'll give it a try!
